- Companionship: Offer emotional support and provide companionship, engaging clients in conversations or activities.
- Monitoring Health: Keep track of clients' health, noting any changes or concerns and reporting to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- A caring and compassionate nature, with a strong desire to help others.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans and safety procedures.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
