Bradwell Hall Nursing Home are a modern style purpose built Family run Care Home registered for Nursing and Residential Care.
We are seeing to recruit Care Assistants/Support Workers with previous experience in this field to join our team as we have recently increased our occupancy.

The successful applicant will be contracted to weekly hours, full time day shifts available over a 7 day working rota.
- Please note:
- Day shift, Hours - 8:00am-8:00pm
- Night Shift - 8.00pm - 8.00am
- Enhanced rates of pay for applicants who are NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Health & Social Care
- Pay rates:
· Rate of pay 18 - 20 years: £10.60 per hour
· Enhancements: NVQ Level 2: Extra 7p per hour or NVQ Level 3: Flat rate of £12.30 per hour
· Rate of pay 21 years and over: £11.55 per hour
· Enhancements: NVQ Level 2: Extra 7p per hour or NVQ Level 3: Flat rate of £12.30 per hour
Overview of what the home provides:
- Care for residents who have an illness or medical condition requiring frequent medical attention supervised day and night by registered nurses
- Specialist care and support for residents who have been diagnosed with Dementia
- Care and support to elderly residents within a residential setting
- End of life care, treatment and support for residents and families
Your role and responsibilities:
The role of a carer is to give direct patient care to our Residents with Dementia as directed by a trained nurse and support the resident in his/her plan of care
Duties will include:
- Assist residents who have Dementia with all aspects of personal care e.g. washing, dressing, toileting etc
- Assist residents with mobility - including hoisting
- Assist residents with eating and drinking, communication and joining in social activities
- Assist nurses with preparation of a resident for treatment
- Complete all documentation as requested by the unit manager/nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the nursing home
Qualities we look for in our carers:

- 6 months previous experience working within a Nursing Home or Care Setting within the UK
