Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has a risen for an enthusiastic self-motivated Quality Manager for Care Homes. The candidate will be integral part of quality and safety team and provides a key role in the delivery of the ICB quality and safety strategy, effective governance, and sharing learning.
The post holder will support care home initiatives identified for the System and at Place through personal action, clinical expertise, and professional leadership to shape and develop a culture of continuous service improvement that benefits the local population.
This role is a facilitative, educational, advisory and monitoring role, which will provide guidance and assistance in enhancing the care delivered to our care home population. The post holder will build strong relationships with care home providers across the system and act as a conduit between care homes, local authorities and the wider health economy.
Main duties of the job
The Quality Manager for Care Homes (including mental health and learning disability homes) is responsible for promoting quality improvement and safeguarding across the care home sector. The post holder will ensure that the population of Frimley ICS experience the best possible quality of services, clinical outcomes and patient experience wherever they interface with health and care providers.
About Us
NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board was formed on 1 July 2022 under the Health and Care Act 2022, replacing NHS Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group.
The ICB is the new statutory NHS organisation responsible for planning and delivering health and care services. It will work collaboratively with partner organisations including the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, people and communities across the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS).
