Working as Care Coordinator for a domiciliary care company who solely cover the borough of Wandsworth, you’ll be office based and responsible for the allocation of care workers to vulnerable clients in their own homes. You’ll get involved in care administration, supervisions/appraisals with carers, and recruitment / interviewing too, so you’ll have a lot of variety in your working day.

The Care Coordinator Role
- As a Care Coordinator you are primarily responsible for the coordination of the rotas for the care staff. You’ll reallocate care visits when staff are absent, ensuring that any changes are communicate to the client, or deal with any queries or concerns from service users or staff
- You’ll liaise regularly with health care professionals such as GP’s and social workers.
- Take part in recruitment and interviewing of new care staff
- Manage any queries that come in from Carers, clients or families.
- Handle new customer enquiries
- Supervisions / Appraisals with Carers
The Successful Candidate
- We’re looking for candidates with prior experience of working as a Care Coordinator, Care Scheduler / Care Planner within a domiciliary care company.
- You’ll have excellent IT skills and the ability to use various software packages
- You’ll have a can-do attitude and have the skills to lead and motivate people
