We are a short breaks unit for Adults with Learning disabilities based in Rainworth. We have four bungalows, and individuals come to stay with us for up to three weeks to allow for carers to have a break and for the individuals to have change of environment, meet new people and have new experiences.
In short breaks we are a dedicated team working for the people who use our service to have the best experience when they stay with us. With lots of activities, as well daily living skills activities are a major part of our day this may be going to the cinema, bowling, seaside or having a disco in our sensory garden.
The role also involves supporting individuals with personal care, domestic tasks and record keeping.
Do not worry if you have had not had training, we offer a comprehensive training package including the care certificate and diplomas in care.
