Maintenance Person, we are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced person at
Croft Care Home in
Stapenhill, Burton on Trent.

Position Details
- Salary: Up to £27,500, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Hours: This is a full-time position and may include some weekends and bank holidays. Due to the nature of the role, work outside of the agreed hours may be required alongside on call duties, therefore, we are looking for someone with flexibility to shift times.

Maintenance Person Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Person at Croft Care Home, you will complete day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services, and grounds to ensure the care home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order. In addition, responsibilities can include:
- Carry out repairs and decoration to the home as required and ensure the maintenance of the care homes exterior
- Report any known defects in appliances, furniture, equipment, and other potential hazards to the Manager, and action as needed
- Monitor the fire panel daily, reporting any faults showing whilst testing the fire system on a weekly basis, recording in the fire log
- Ensure all fire exits remain tidy and free from clutter, and complete visual checks of all fire safety equipment, as specified in the company policies and procedures
- Liaise with and support visiting contractors and deliveries
- Keep ventilation units and lights clean and well-maintained, and test appliances and equipment as needed.
- Test and record water temperatures on a weekly basis
- Store products correctly and in line with regulations
- Maintain records of all required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks
- Undertake training to support you and enable you to complete the required testing and checks
