Shifts: Ad hoc agency work, flexible Day and Night shifts (11.5 hours) & half shifts (6 hours/day)
Legacy Care Plus is a recruitment agency working closely with hospices and care homes, providing temporary staffing solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with knowledge of end-of-life care to support terminally ill patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
Key Requirements:
✔ Minimum 5 years of professional references
✔ Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
✔ DBS on the Update Service preferred (or willingness to apply)
✔ Training will be provided
✔ Experience in end-of-life/palliative care
✔ Strong communication and emotional support skills
✔ Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect
✔ NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
✔ Empathy, patience, and a caring nature
✔ Ability to work in a hospice environment providing comfort to patients and their families
✔ Experience with manual handling, medication support, and infection control
