The Role

Compass Associates are partnering with a fantastic client based across the United Kingdom. They hold a portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes with a strong senior management structure in order to provide continuous support.

This role joins a care home providing nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. At present, the home requires a small amount of turnaround but has fantastic foundations and a great team to be nurtured.

Candidate

Although a qualified nurse would be preferred, the provider are also keen to hear from non-nurse candidates with a background of managing nursing care homes. A solid understanding of CQC regulations is essential, with the ability to evidence previous successful inspections.

As a leader, the chosen candidate will be collaborative and supportive to the team. They’ll drive a culture of development and also build strong relationships with external stakeholders. A business acumen is preferred in order to be able to run the home in line with budgetary and profitability requirements.

The role is commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Wetherby, Dewsbury, Bingley, Garforth, Tadcaster, Pudsey, Otley, Keighley and Castleford.

Summary

My client is seeking a keen individual with a background in elderly care home management, mainly within a nursing setting. You’ll have an eye for compliance, be able to ensure care plans are well detailed and strive to ensure each resident receives quality care.
